I am a registered Educational Psychologist with a Master’s Degree from the University of Malta. As an Educational Psychologist, I carry out psycho-educational assessments, intervention, and follow-up for children and adolescents aged 2-18 years. In my practice, I assess for various profiles including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties/Dyslexia, Intellectual Disability, Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other learning, behavioural and/or developmental difficulties. I hold importance to working closely with parents, schools, and other professionals in supporting students’ learning and overall wellbeing.

Before obtaining my Master’s degree, I worked in the area of inclusion as a Learning Support Educator (LSE). I also gained ample experience working closely with learners with disabilities in other settings including Inspire Foundation and Equal Partners Foundation.

In my work as an Educational Psychologist I am skilled in building connections with children and adolescents, helping them feel at ease during the assessment process. What I love most about my work is helping young clients understand their profile and become aware of their strengths. Through reading for a Post-graduate Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy with IFT-Malta, I also acquired further training in adopting a systemic framework in my approach as a Psychologist which I feel is crucial in gaining an understanding of and working with the challenges children present with.
